Seven injured when porch collapses in Troy

TROY, Ill. Seven people are recovering from injuries today that they sustained when a wooden deck collapsed in the St. Louis suburb of Troy.

Police say sixteen people were standing on the two-story deck when it separated from the rear of the house and collapsed last night.

When emergency workers arrived at the scene they found some of the victims lying within the debris.

Police say seven of the victims were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
